INNOSUP-08-2020 Pan-European Advanced Manufacturing Support and Training for SMEs (Horizon 2020 - Innosup), published by the European Commission.
The project is financed by the European Commission with a budget of € 5.7 million.
The deadline for submission of applications is 1 December 2020.
Its budget can be 200-300 thousand euros for a period of 3 years.
Advanced manufacturing technologies and systems continue to be a challenge: only one in five manufacturing companies use advanced manufacturing solutions.
Today, few public initiatives offer consulting services to manufacturing SMEs to help them assess advanced manufacturing investments and offer a solution to steer their company towards a more competitive and intelligent next-generation factory and to sustain production (“factory of the future” concept). Access to such advice and the expertise, retraining and further training of staff is essential for the diffusion of advanced technologies by industry and SMEs in particular.
The overall aim of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturing SMEs for more advanced, intelligent and sustainable development. For this, a support program will be set up with two objectives: the development of cross-border training services and a framework. This challenge will enable SMEs to become a key element of the 4.0 industry.
Industry 4.0 is the interconnection of product, machine and man for innovation, more efficient, personalized manufacturing, and environmental and social sustainability.
• Providing a service that meets the business needs of SMEs with flexible and fast implementation
• Helping the critical mass of manufacturing SMEs (at least 800 SMEs in 20 EU countries)
• Cooperation with technology or training centers capable of providing training services to SMEs in advanced manufacturing
• Practical training services ("in place")
• Take into account the large geographical area and gender segregation
As a cluster of specialized services for SMEs, you can participate in this project, provide training and develop a framework to help SMEs reach the 4.0 level.
