The Significance of the Industry Cluster Qualification

The Industry Cluster qualification is official recognition that a cluster operates in an organized and effective manner, possesses significant history and experience, and serves strategic goals. It is capable of fostering innovation collaborations, is potentially relevant at an international level, and contributes to economic performance.

The Archenerg-Metál Cluster, formerly known as ArchEnerg International Renewable Energy and Construction Innovation Cluster, has now received this certification for the fifth time. Furthermore, it was the first Hungarian cluster to achieve the highest, gold rating of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) in 2015, which was renewed in 2019. The merger with the Sárrét Metál Cluster further strengthened the cluster's recognition and capabilities.

Acknowledgments and Future Plans

Within the framework of the event, the Archenerg-Metál Cluster wishes to thank its members for their contribution to the cluster's qualification application. The Cluster has extensive international partnership agreements and actively participates in the creation of domestic and international clusters. A key objective of the cluster management is for member companies to gain extra points in advantageous GINOP Plusz tenders and to participate in direct EU HORIZON and other international tenders with the support of the cluster organization.

The awarding of the Archenerg-Metál Cluster's Industry Cluster title represents the joint success of the cluster management's work, all its members, supporters, and partners. Special thanks go to those who actively participated in compiling the qualification documentation, developing the cluster strategy, operating the organization, and submitting the application.

Why Should You Attend?

The event offers an exceptional opportunity for entrepreneurs to expand their knowledge and network. Previous CWC business meetings, jointly organized with the Archenerg-Metál Cluster, have already proven to successfully combine innovation, international cooperation, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Participants can gain insight into the details of the GINOP_PLUSZ-1.1.5-24 Tender, and there will also be an opportunity to learn about the significance of the CWC Unit system in companies' procurement and development processes. Dr. Zsolt Hajnalka is also expected to inform attendees about how this industry qualification provides a significant competitive advantage for member companies in tenders announced under the GINOP Plusz framework, as they can expect substantial extra points and in certain cases, a higher non-repayable grant intensity.
