The aim of the Archenerg Cluster is to popularize drone surveys for architects, urban planners, and forest managers. Innovative surveys are also excellent for architectural planning and urban development. With the help of thermal camera drone surveys, thermal insulation deficiencies and temperature differences in individual areas can be accurately identified.

The conference participants are greeted by Prof. Dr. István Bíró, the dean of the SZTE Faculty of Engineering.

After the welcome, Márkus Lőrinc, a representative of Ambisza Kft., will give a presentation, during which he will share his experiences in connection with special drone surveys, among other things. In his presentation, he will present a comprehensive thermal camera survey of Budapest VI. and VII. districts. The purpose of the survey is to examine the heat emission of different surfaces (such as asphalt, green space, parks, etc.). The temperature of the given measurement point can be measured (with an accuracy of one-tenth) from the created thermal images, making it suitable for various comparisons, measurements, and conclusions.

Following Márkus Lőrinc's presentation, György Szügyi, an electrical engineer and economist, will present on behalf of IKOSZ - the National Association of Innovative Clusters. He will provide examples of regional energy efficiency, addressing the EU's expectations of the region's energy sector and exploring technical, business, economic, and human solutions during the program.

As part of the program, the organizers expect applications from future students dealing with GIS, but the program provides valuable information for both professionals dedicated to improving the energy efficiency of buildings and those interested in environmentally friendly design.

The event will begin on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the SZTE Faculty of Engineering, Building 9, Moszkvai körút.

Participation in the event is free and subject to registration, which can be completed via the following form:  https://forms.gle/1pW2gZa83PXBWyqp7

The event will also be broadcast live on the Archenerg Cluster's Facebook page from 14:00.
