The project focuses on the further development of Wingain's energy storage systems manufactured in China and their adaptation to the European market. Complemented by the expertise of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Szeged, the company aims to create innovative solutions that can become a key element of sustainable energy supply. Through this collaboration, Wingain will have access to the latest European research results and the knowledge of highly qualified experts at the University of Szeged, which will guarantee the cutting-edge nature of the developments.

Specific Objectives for Success

The specific objectives of the project are as follows:

• Research and development: Increasing the efficiency and lifespan of energy storage devices and developing new functions.

• Standardization: Creating products that comply with European Union regulations and standards.

• Market launch: Successful market launch and sale of the developed products.

Knowledge and practice come together for a sustainable future

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Szeged provides the scientific basis for the project with its internationally recognized research and development background and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment. This expertise is essential for fine-tuning Wingain's products and testing new features, ensuring that the end products not only meet but exceed European expectations. This collaboration also creates a unique opportunity for students and researchers to get directly involved in industrial innovation and contribute to practical results.

Hungary's role in the European energy transition

The active participation of the Archenerg United International Renewable Energy Engineering and Construction Innovation Cluster guarantees the industrial and market relevance of the project. The cluster's extensive network and knowledge of domestic and international market conditions are essential for the successful introduction and sale of products. The long-term goal is for the collaboration to result in products and services that contribute to the development of the European Union's energy communities. To this end, there are plans to develop a sales model in which third-party manufactured solar panels and Wingain energy storage systems can be marketed as an integrated system. Thanks to this cooperation, Hungary can also play an active role in the European energy transition and become one of the leading players in the region in the field of energy storage technologies.
