The new certification system operates within the framework of the GINOP Plusz 1.1.5-24 call for proposals and distinguishes three levels: registered, sectoral, and innovation clusters. The titles do not come with financial support, but they are essential for accessing cluster-specific schemes of the GINOP Plusz and other development programs.

The Cluster Certification Board evaluated the applications of twelve clusters. Nine of them received the Certified Cluster title, while two can continue their work as Registered Clusters.

Certified Clusters:

  • ArchEnerg Metal Cluster– renewable energy and international market building

  • Innoskart Cluster– digital transformation and technology transfer

  • Hungarian Medical Manufacturers and Service Providers Cluster– healthcare technology developments

  • Software Industry Innovation Pole Cluster– information security, ESG, and sustainability

  • MIRBEST Gastroinnovation Cluster– development of gastronomic value chains

  • Hungarian Progressive Construction Industry Cluster– joint procurement and energy optimization solutions

  • Southern Transdanubian Mechanical Engineering Cluster– mechanical engineering vocational training and technological innovation

  • Pannon Wood and Furniture Industry Cluster– R&D and international competitiveness

  • IFood Food Industry Cluster– for players in the food economy

The newly certified clusters can access policy and development tools that specifically support their international market presence, innovation projects, and structured collaborations.

The next submission phase is from September 25, 2025, to October 9, 2025. The goal is to continue building the network of certified clusters as a main pillar of Hungary's national economic competitiveness, involving new participants and strengthening the cluster structure.
