The University of Szeged held its ceremonial celebration on November 15, 2025. This year’s event was particularly significant as it also marked the 25th anniversary of the integrated institution. The ceremony honored the excellences of scientific life and the professionals building the future of the university.
It was at this distinguished event that Prof. Dr. István Bíró, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, received the Memorial Medal for Service in Education (Oktatói Szolgálati Emlékérem). This award carries significant prestige, as it is granted to professionals who have demonstrated outstanding educational and professional activities in higher education for at least 25 years.
