Signing of the B4PIC Charter and the NEBULA Project

The forum was preceded by the Built4People (B4PIC) charter signing ceremony for Innovation Clusters. This agreement is a commitment from Innovation Clusters (ICs) to collaborate and network in support of the B4P Partnership's goals and the opportunities presented by the New European Bauhaus (NEB). The Archenerg Cluster joined the signatories through the NEBULA project, which we previously wrote about [here](link to previous article, if available).

The NEBULA project, supported by the EU Horizon Europe funding program, plays a key role in activating and supporting the B4P Innovation Clusters (B4PIC) network. Its goal is to integrate, scale, and demonstrate innovations across Europe through a network of national and regional ICs, maximizing their impact on transforming the highly fragmented construction sector. The project supports the development of innovation ecosystems at multiple levels (local, regional, national), promotes open innovation, and provides business and financial advisory services to clusters.

European Collaborations and Future Projects

During the event, the project manager held numerous discussions aimed at expanding European collaborations and increasing the cluster's active participation in European projects. "I spoke with our former partners, for example from Italy, and we also discussed potential new collaborations," Patrik stated. "I also established contact with several Scandinavian research institutes with whom we would like to cooperate in the future."

In addition to the election of the ECTP leadership and the approval of the annual budget, the ECTP presented the STAR*Track project. This is the next major project building on previous B4PIC collaborations, aiming to ensure and accelerate sustainable and human-centered innovation in regional value and supply chains.

The European Affordable Housing Consortium, of which the ECTP is also a member, was also discussed. In this initiative, nine partners were commissioned by the European Commission to create a rich and diverse capacity-building program. This program provides tools for home renovation, has a strong social impact on communities, and creates opportunities for experienced professionals to share knowledge.

The program was excellent and groundbreaking, and the Archenerg-Metál Cluster is determined to strengthen international relations, actively seeking new collaboration opportunities across Europe. Its commitment positions it as a leader in sustainable innovation and human-centered solutions. Its goal is to play a pioneering role in creating a greener and more resilient built environment, thereby contributing to the foundations of future sustainability and inspiring the wider professional community.
