The Success of the Algyő e-Mobility Day and the Cluster's Role

Last year in Algyő, the park of the Levendula Hotel was transformed into a true mobility hub, where both children and adults could discover the benefits of electric vehicles. The core of the program was test drives: thanks to Porsche Szeged, visitors could try out Volkswagens and Audis, but a BMW i3 and a lightning-fast KIA EV6 also made an appearance. The biggest attractions, however, were the Teslas and the Audi RS e-tron GT, the latter's 3.3-second 0-100 kph acceleration personally tested by popular vlogger Csaba Magyarosi.

The event was not just about vehicles. After the morning programs, a professional roundtable discussion began in the "hangar," where experts from the University of Szeged and Dávid Jakab, an artificial intelligence expert representing the Archenerg-Metál Cluster, participated. The discussion touched upon the future of transport, EU regulations on electric charging, and the role of artificial intelligence and micromobility. Dávid Jakab emphasized that AI can predict the most ideal locations for installing fast-charging stations, which can significantly increase the return on investment.
