The European Commission (EC), through the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), hosted the EU–UAE Matchmaking Event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), between October 1–3, 2025. The event was organized in collaboration with the UAE's Ministries of Economy, Tourism, Energy and Infrastructure, and Foreign Trade, and took place in the context of the WETEX 2025 exhibition. The Archenerg-Metál Cluster was represented by Anthony Kez, Vice President for International Affairs. The objective was clear: to stimulate Cluster-to-Cluster (C2C), Cluster-to-Business (C2B), and Business-to-Business (B2B) cooperation between the EU and the UAE, focusing on sectors aligned with the green and digital transition.

Clusters—networks of companies, research institutions, and public actors in an innovation ecosystem—play a key role in Europe's green industrial transition and in strengthening its regional resilience. This was the purpose of the two-day Clusters Meet Regions event in Vaasa, Finland, where European policymakers, industry leaders, and cluster managers collaboratively developed action strategies.
The event focused on how to align regional resources and knowledge with European-level priorities for sustainable economic growth. Hungary and the region were represented by Ágnes Gonda, International Officer for the ArchEnerg-Metál Cluster, who showcased domestic energy efficiency and green building innovations.

The XXV. Szeged Bio-Architectural Days will be held at the Sándor Bálint Cultural Center between October 7 and 31, 2025. The Hungarian Bio-Architectural Association and the Sándor Bálint Cultural Center warmly welcome all interested attendees to this jubilee event, which is the flagship event of Bio-Architecture Month 2025!
A highlight of the professional days will be the presentation on October 8 by Péter Fritz, Vice-President of the Archenerg-Metal Cluster, who will detail the effects of the physical parameters of hemp houses on thermal comfort.
