On 19 May 2026, the RENOINVEST project will contribute to the national roundtable “Financing sustainable and energy-efficient projects”, organised by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy of Slovenia (MOPE) and the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) – Energy Efficiency Centre in Ljubljana.
The event will be implemented within the framework of the LIFE projects SMAFIN Expanded, EEFINH and GreenRenoV8. It will bring together representatives of the European Commission, national authorities, financial institutions and industry stakeholders to discuss key challenges and opportunities in financing energy efficiency and building renovation.
During the afternoon session, the Slovenian RENOINVEST partner GZS will present the main results and insights gained from more than 2.5 years of structured stakeholder dialogue. The presentation will focus on four key thematic areas addressed within the project:
The RENOINVEST contribution will highlight key barriers identified in Slovenia, particularly in relation to financing the renovation of multi-apartment buildings. It will also present practical solutions developed through thematic working groups and national roundtables.
By participating in this event, RENOINVEST reinforces its role in supporting ongoing EU initiatives and contributes to the broader exchange of knowledge and good practices among projects working on sustainable energy finance and building renovation.
The event is free of charge and offers an important platform for dialogue, networking and future cooperation among stakeholders.
