We are thrilled to announce that Sabina recently presented the Renoinvest project at the SMAFIN Expanded National Roundtable. The event was organized by the Jožef Stefan Institute, Centre for Energy Efficiency (IJS CEU) in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy (MOPE).
The roundtable gathered key stakeholders from Slovenia, including representatives from the European Commission, ministries, local administrations, public and commercial banks, insurance companies, the construction/industrial/service sector, energy service companies, local agencies, and both the public and private sectors. The goal was to foster dialogue on energy finance, aligning with EU directives and efforts to support the green transition.
The event is part of the LIFE project SMAFIN Expanded and the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE project MESTRI-CE. It builds on the previous Sustainable Energy Investment Forums (SEIF) focused on energy efficiency financing in Slovenia. These discussions are crucial for advancing the National Energy and Climate Plan (NEPN) and the new Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Strategy.
The event provided ample opportunity for in-depth discussions. Participants exchanged views and made concrete recommendations to stimulate investment in energy renovation of buildings in Slovenia.
Sabina showcased the innovative Renoinvest project, highlighting strategies for enhancing energy efficiency in building renovations. Her presentation was well-received, and she actively participated in the roundtable discussion, sharing valuable insights with other experts in the energy efficiency sector.
We are proud of Sabina’s contribution to this significant event and her efforts to drive forward the conversation on sustainable energy investments and building renovations in Slovenia.
