We are pleased to announce the publication of the 9th RENOINVEST Newsletter – April 2026 Edition, marking the final newsletter of the RENOINVEST project.

Subotica (Szabadka) will host the 16th "EXPRES 2026" International Scientific Symposium from May 7 to 9, 2026. The Archenerg-Metál Cluster will be represented at the event, emphasizing the importance of international professional dialogue and sustainable industrial solutions.

On May 5, 2026, Gyula will host a large-scale professional forum providing strategic insights into the latest market and technological trends for domestic companies in the mechanical engineering and energy sectors.

The CWC Club concluded a successful professional day at the headquarters of the National Innovation Agency (NIÜ), where key opportunities for supporting international market entry were presented to the members of the Archenerg-Metál Cluster. The event focused on the XPand program and the complex service package of ABS Ltd., offering direct solutions for the foreign market expansion of Hungarian metal industry and energy companies.

The University of Szeged and WINGAIN EURÓPA Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on April 7, 2026. The partnership focuses on energy storage, a field that plays a pivotal role in sustainable energy consumption. The goal of the collaboration is to combine the university's knowledge base with the industrial experience represented by WINGAIN—as a partner of the Archenerg-Metal Cluster—to create joint innovation projects and practice-oriented training opportunities.

Toyota Sakura has been an active member of the Archenerg-Metál Cluster community for years and is committed to implementing the Toyota Beyond Zero strategy in Hungary. The goal is not only zero-emission vehicles, but also a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the entire operational infrastructure.
Another milestone in this endeavor was achieved in collaboration with Óbuda University, where an innovative hydrogen-based microgrid system was established.

Following its 2023 commemoration in Ivano-Frankivsk, the ArchEnerg-Metal Cluster pays tribute virtually this year to the heroes of the War of Independence and the victims of the war. Solidarity, shared cultural heritage, and the desire for peace on March 15th.

The Archenerg-Metal Cluster and Wingain Europe Ltd. organized three professional factory visits to the Wingain Europe Ltd. facility. The program focused on showcasing domestic manufacturing capacity, cutting-edge energy storage solutions, and future strategic collaborations.

From Mars Square to World Fame – The University of Szeged (SZTE) Faculty of Engineering, partner of the Archenerg-Metal Cluster, pays tribute to the father of modern mass production.

Data and diplomatic events in 2026 have made it clear: the global warming limit of 1.5°C has become definitively untenable. According to the Berkeley Earth report, 2025 was the third warmest year on record, and the temperature spikes of the last three years (2023–2025) indicate a drastic acceleration of the process.
